Maintenance Helper
Classy Chassis Car Wash & Detail Center is looking for a dependable Maintenance Helper to assist with the upkeep, repair, and troubleshooting of car wash equipment across our three Mississippi Gulf Coast locations: Biloxi, Gulfport, and Ocean Springs.
This is a hands-on position for someone who is mechanically inclined, reliable, and willing to learn. The Maintenance Helper will assist with routine maintenance, repairs, equipment checks, facility upkeep, and general support to help keep our car wash operations running smoothly.
Pay: $15 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Assist with maintenance and repair of car wash equipment and related systems
- Help troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
- Perform routine inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and preventive maintenance tasks
- Assist with replacing parts, hoses, fittings, pumps, motors, and other components
- Support general facility upkeep and maintenance needs
- Travel between Biloxi, Gulfport, and Ocean Springs locations as needed
- Help keep maintenance areas, tools, and work spaces clean and organized
- Follow safety procedures while working around equipment, chemicals, water, electrical components, and moving machinery
- Communicate maintenance issues clearly to management
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must have a reliable personal vehicle and be able to drive to all three locations: Biloxi, Gulfport, and Ocean Springs
- Must provide own basic tools
- Must be mechanically inclined and have the ability to work on and around car wash equipment
- Must be dependable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Must be able to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions
- Must be able to lift, bend, kneel, stand, and work with tools as needed
- Must be willing to learn and take direction from management or lead maintenance personnel
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous maintenance, mechanical, equipment repair, or car wash experience is a plus
- Experience with pumps, motors, belts, hoses, fittings, air systems, water systems, or electrical troubleshooting is helpful
- Experience working around automated equipment is a plus

Pay: $22.46 per hour
