Role Description As a Licensed Massage Therapist at Classique Queen Anne Spa, you will provide client-centered therapeutic and relaxation massage services in a part-time or full-time, on-site role based in Seattle, WA. Your day-to-day work will include conducting thorough client consultations, customizing treatment plans, and performing a variety of massage modalities tailored to individual needs and wellness goals. You will maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment, including room setup, sanitation, and proper use and care of equipment and supplies. The role involves delivering exceptional customer service, educating clients on self-care and stress management techniques, and recommending appropriate follow-up treatments. You will also manage appointment flow, complete necessary documentation, collaborate with spa team members, and support an overall atmosphere of professionalism and calm.
Qualifications
- Strong therapeutic skills in bodywork, including Therapeutic Massage and Body Massage, with the ability to tailor sessions to client needs.
- Ability to support client well-being through Stress Management techniques, relaxation methods, and client education on self-care.
- Excellent Customer Service skills, including clear communication, active listening, empathy, and a client-focused mindset.
- Current state licensure as a Massage Therapist in Washington (or eligibility to obtain), with required professional liability insurance.
- Commitment to maintaining high hygiene and safety standards, including sanitation and adherence to spa policies and regulations.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work a consistent full-time or part-time schedule, including potential evenings or weekends as needed.
