What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tax Preparer - Admin Support (Seasonal) position at Classic Services?
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to provide both basic tax preparation support and general administrative assistance during tax season. This role includes data entry, organizing client tax documents, assisting our on-site Enrolled Agent (EA), and delivering excellent customer service to new and existing clients. Training for basic tax preparation will be provided.Schedule: Monday – Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PMSeasonal Position: January through April (Tax Season)Key Responsibilities:Enter client tax information accurately into tax preparation software.Organize, label, and maintain all client tax documents and files.Prepare and assemble tax packets for the Enrolled Agent.Schedule appointments and manage the office calendar.Answer incoming calls and greet clients in a professional and friendly manner.Assist with client intake and ensure all required forms are completed.Maintain a clean and organized workspace and document system.Provide general office and administrative support as needed. Qualifications:Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Basic computer and data entry skills.Good communication and customer service skills.Ability to stay organized and work in a fast-paced environment.Bilingual in English and Haitian Creole is a plus.Tax preparation training will be provided; no prior experience required.
