NJ Lead Install Technician

Description

Classic Rock Fabrication, located in Sewell, NJ (just outside Philadelphia), is looking for an experienced Lead Installation Technician to join our growing team. This is a full-time role with competitive pay, excellent benefits, and the chance to work with a group of professionals who truly enjoy what they do.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, starting at 7:00 a.m. until the day’s projects are complete
• Standard 40-hour workweek, with overtime frequently available
• Some weekend work may be required

Role Responsibilities

As the Lead Installer, you will:

• Manage and direct a small crew (1–2 team members) on countertop installation projects
• Install countertops of all types, including granite, quartz, marble, quartzite, and specialty surfaces
• Handle advanced work such as mitered waterfall edges
• Ensure your crew has the tools, equipment, and materials necessary to finish jobs efficiently
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work sites at all times
• Track job supplies and company tools accurately
• Review job plans, offer professional recommendations, and make on-site adjustments when required
• Provide outstanding customer service during each installation
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications We Value

• Solid background in countertop installation or a construction trade involving stone or solid surface materials
• Skilled at reading a tape measure and working with precision
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; must pass a NJ DOT physical
• (Employees not in driving roles will receive $2/hour less)
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 150 pounds and work in physically demanding conditions (standing, bending, climbing, repetitive motions)
• Knowledge of basic hand and power tools and their upkeep
• Strong customer service and leadership skills with the ability to guide a team
• Sound judgment and problem-solving skills
• Reliability and willingness to work extended hours when needed
