GRAPHIC DESIGNER
Hours: Mon – Friday; 8:00am - 5:00pm
Status: Fulltime / Hourly / 100% On-Site
Ideal Candidate:
Will be comfortable designing, editing, proofing, archiving and formatting the layout of: Catalogs, Manuals, Trade Show Signage, Magazine Ads, Logos, Product Packaging, Product Photography and all Marketing Materials.
Requirements:
· Minimum 3 years experience working as a graphic designer in a fast-paced, team oriented environment
· Accustomed to high volume catalog production
· Experienced in typography with Adobe fonts
· Complete knowledge and expert use of Adobe Creative Cloud: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat and Dream Weaver software applications.
· Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
· Able to prioritize projects to meet strict deadlines
· Above average verbal and written communication skills
· Flexibility and willingness to learn and understand business aspects
· MS Office: advanced use of Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point
· Digital photography editing techniques and correction
· Digital video capture and editing knowledge
· Web design and HTML – CSS coding would be a PLUS
· Familiar with social media platforms – SEO a PLUS
· Automotive industry knowledge and/or experience is a huge PLUS!
Job Duties:
· Tech and installation manuals
· High volume catalog production and updating
· Trade show signage and materials
· Design, format, edit, output and track retail magazine ads (10-12 national ads per month)
· Logos, icons and product packaging
· Product photography image monitoring, color correction, editing, retrieval and archiving
· InDesign table styles from Excel spreadsheets, plus paragraph and character style sheet management
· Responsible for the protocol of printed and digital, web ready graphics for marketing materials including, but not limited to: flyers, newsletters, press releases, brochures, catalogs, posters, web design, signage and events
· Monitoring email correspondence pertaining to catalog product updates
Education:
Degree in Art / Graphic Design
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
