We’re Hiring: Senior 5‑Axis CNC Operator (Bilingual – English & Spanish)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced 5‑Axis CNC Operator to operate a 12‑foot long‑bed CNC machine used to cut and machine aluminum profiles for premium pergolas, architectural windows, and decorative home products. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented professional who takes pride in precision, quality, and craftsmanship in a production environment.

What You’ll Do

• Set up, operate, and monitor a 5‑axis CNC aluminum profile cutting machine (12‑foot bed).


• Load aluminum extrusions and profiles using proper material handling techniques.


• Read and interpret CNC programs, CAD/CAM drawings, blueprints, and work orders.


• Perform precision cutting, drilling, milling, and complex multi‑axis machining.


• Inspect parts using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers to ensure tight tolerances.


• Conduct first‑piece and in‑process quality inspections.


• Troubleshoot machining or equipment issues and coordinate with maintenance as needed.


• Maintain accurate production, quality, and scrap records.


• Follow all safety rules and PPE requirements.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training strongly preferred.


• 3 years of CNC machining experience, including 5‑axis operation.


• Strong understanding of CNC controls, tooling, and machining principles.


• Ability to read and interpret complex drawings and specifications.


• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (required).

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience operating long‑bed CNC machines (10–12 feet or longer).


• Background in architectural aluminum products such as pergolas, windows, railings, or decorative metal components.


• Familiarity with Haffner (MAC440), Elumatec, or similar long‑bed 5‑axis profile machines.


• Working knowledge of CAD/CAM software and profile optimization.

Physical & Work Environment

• Ability to stand for extended periods during production shifts.


• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs, with or without assistance.


• Comfortable working with noise, metal shavings, and moving equipment.


• Required use of PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection.

Compensation 

Base Pay

• $30.00 – $35.00 per hour, based on experience and skills
