This is a full-time Safety Technician role located in Baton Rouge, LA. The Safety Technician will be responsible for implementing and maintaining health and safety programs, conducting safety inspections, providing safety training, and promoting a culture of workplace safety.
- Health & Safety, Occupational Health, and Workplace Safety skills
- Experience in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS)
- Effective communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to perform inspections
- Certifications such as OSHA 30-Hour or CSP are a plus
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in industrial or construction safety is preferred
