As a pharmacist working in our Specialty Compounding-only Pharmacy, you will have the ability to provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals while providing leadership and guidance to support staff.

Responsibilities
1. Clinically interprets and evaluates all physician medication orders for therapeutic appropriateness, cost effectiveness, accuracy, safety, and completeness. Performs accurate computer order entry, labeling and dispensing in accordance with policies and procedure, Federal Regulations, and State Board of Pharmacy regulations.
2. Initiates, reviews, and updates all required documentation to verify accuracy, communicating clinical and technical information and monitoring to other members of the healthcare team and patient when appropriate.
3. Assigned clean room responsibilities, directly supervise pharmacy support personnel in the appropriate compounding, packaging, and labeling of compounded non-sterile products. Supervises pharmacy support personnel in the appropriate product procurement, preferred product utilization, and inventory management. Comply with cleanroom policies in accordance with USP 795 and USP 800 for safe compounding practices, maintaining quality assurance documentation.
4. Maintains security of all legend items and accurately maintains all legally required records in compliance with state, federal, and USP regulations. Complies with FDA mandates.
5. Assists in training and orientation of new employees as requested by pharmacy manager or designee.
6. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
