We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Construction Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise carpentry work.
- Construct, install, and repair structures such as walls, floors, roofs, doors, windows, siding, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
- Perform framing tasks including metal stud framing, wood framing, and concrete forming to create sturdy structural elements.
- Execute finishing work such as trim carpentry, cabinetry installation, drywall hanging, plastering, caulking, and painting for polished results.
- Handle specialized tasks like rebar installation, roofing, tile laying, flooring installation, stucco application, and water damage restoration.
- Operate fabrication equipment including CNC machines when required for custom components or metalwork.
- Assist with remodeling projects by performing demolition, restoration industry tasks, mold remediation, plumbing rough-ins, electrical wiring, masonry work, and fixture installation.
- Use schematics and blueprints to guide installation of doors, windows, siding panels, cabinetry, and other fixtures with precision.
- Engage in heavy lifting and physical labor safely while maintaining a clean and organized work environment on-site.
Skills
- Extensive experience with construction estimating processes to accurately assess project needs and materials.
- Proficiency in various carpentry techniques including trim carpentry, frame carpentry, metal stud framing, and woodworking.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools (saws, hammers, chisels), power tools (drills, saws), and fabrication equipment (CNC machines).
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics for accurate project execution.
- Experience with concrete forming techniques and masonry work for foundational structures.
- Ability to perform plastering, stucco application, siding installation (vinyl or fiber cement), roofing repairs or installations.
- Familiarity with restoration projects involving water damage remediation or mold cleanup industry standards.
- Competence in fixture installation including doors, windows, cabinetry (kitchen/bathroom), lighting fixtures and hardware.
- Knowledge of plumbing rough-ins and electrical wiring basics relevant to carpentry tasks.
- Ability to lift heavy materials safely while maintaining proper technique; physical stamina is essential.
