Duties
- Assist the construction foreman in supervising daily site activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to plans
- Support light carpentry tasks such as framing, drywall installation, and basic finish work using hand tools and power tools
- Coordinate with team members to ensure materials are available and properly staged for ongoing tasks
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to guide work activities accurately
- Conduct safety inspections regularly, enforce OSHA standards, and maintain a safe working environment for all personnel
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore or Bluebeam for documentation, reporting, and project tracking
- Assist with quality control measures by inspecting work for adherence to specifications and standards
- Operate basic testing equipment like ohmmeters to verify electrical connections when necessary
- Support project scheduling efforts using Primavera P6 or HeavyBid to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Manage small-scale budgeting tasks and assist with contract documentation as needed

Experience
- Proven experience working on construction sites with knowledge of general construction processes and safety protocols
- Scissor lift operator certification REQUIRED
- Supervising or team-leading experience in a construction environment is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with light carpentry tasks such as framing, drywall installation, or finish carpentry
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations with valid OSHA 10 certification; OSHA 30 certification is REQUIRED
- Ability to operate basic electrical OR battery tools safely and effectively
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish to facilitate clear team coordination
