What are the responsibilities and job description for the Oil Change Technician/Light Duty Mechanic position at Classic Car Wash & Oil Change?
We are looking to hire experienced automotive quick lube technicians. Candidates must have at least one year of experience in the automotive quick lube industry and possess excellent customer service skills. Applicants who have experience with light duty mechanical work such as, brakes, shocks, front end work will be strongly considered.
Daily responsibilities include oil and filter changes, grease fittings, check and fill under hood fluids, set tire pressure and perform light preventative maintenance services. Our P.O.S system is computerized, therefore a general knowledge of computers is required for this position. Employees are trained to check in and ring out customers so a positive attitude and willingness to interact with the public is required.
Employees must have reliable transportation and the ability to work some weekend days. A typical full time schedule has employees working 3 to 4 days during the week and one weekend day. Our oil change center is closed on Sunday
We provide all the tools required for work in our shop, applicants are not required to provide their own tools. We take pride in our workmanship and appearance of our shop, when we are not working on vehicles, we use down time to train employees and keep our shop neat and clean.
