Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and client-focused Relationship Manager to join our community banking lending team. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in banking or financial services, and a strong interest in developing customer relationships, analyzing financial information, and supporting the growth of loans for the bank
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides excellent service to both current and prospective loan customers
- Gives financial advice and counsel to customers
- Contributes to profitability and growth of the bank by building, developing, and managing new and expanded client relationships
- Actively cross-sells appropriate banking products & services to new and existing customers and refers clients to other banking areas for additional needs
- Analyzes and forms decisions on loans and terms within established lending limits, or makes recommendations to a superior or loan committee
- Manages a portfolio of loans to ensure compliance with terms and conditions
- Coordinates lending activities with others in the organization
- Coordinates and communicates with Branch Manager to assist with rotations of opening, closing, lunch periods, etc.
- Serves as the main point of contact for loans in assigned branches and serve as backup contact for other branches
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in commercial lending, banking, or financial analysis.
- Good understanding of financial statements and credit fundamentals.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with banking systems is a plus.
- Must maintain registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS)
