Company Description CLASSEN Family Practice LLC provides trusted, medical care to patients across Norman and surrounding communities including OU, Noble, Purcell, Lexington, Slaughterville, Little Axe, and Pink. The clinic is dedicated to delivering accessible, high-quality health services during the hours of 7a-5p, M-F. Patients are supported by experienced, compassionate clinical and support teams focused on helping individuals feel better as quickly and safely as possible. Available onsite are X-ray, Mod Complexity Lab, your own MA/LPN/RN to help you with your daily patients, and multiple other helping professionals to make your day go smoother.

Role Description This Full-time, on-site Family Physician role is based in Norman, OK and focuses on providing high-quality primary care to patients of all ages. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing patient assessments, diagnosing acute and chronic conditions, ordering and interpreting tests, and developing evidence-based treatment plans. The Family Physician will manage urgent care visits, provide preventive care and health education, and coordinate follow-up with patients and other healthcare professionals. Additional responsibilities include documenting encounters in the medical record, collaborating with the clinical care team, and contributing to a safe, efficient, and respectful patient care environment.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Primary Care and Family Medicine to manage a broad range of conditions across the lifespan.
  • Strong clinical skills in Medicine for evaluating and treating acute and chroninc illnesses and minor injuries.
  • Experience or interest in Community Health, including serving diverse populations in a local clinic setting.
  • Valid MD or DO degree from an accredited institution and completion of a Family Medicine or Primary Care residency.
  • Current, unrestricted medical license in the state of Oklahoma and board certification or board eligibility in Family Medicine.
  • Current DEA registration and BLS certification; ACLS and PALS are preferred.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to respectful, inclusive, and patient-centered care.
  • Ability to work part-time on a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
