We are seeking an energetic and reliable Part Time Evening Janitor to join our team and ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of a busy dental office. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of all patient and staff areas, including treatment rooms, waiting areas, restrooms, and hallways
- Handle cleaning tasks using appropriate equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, mops, and cleaning cloths
- Manage the safe handling and use of chemical agents for sanitation purposes in accordance with safety protocols
- Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure efficient workspace organization
- Follow strict safety procedures during all custodial activities to prevent accidents and ensure a safe environment
- Maintain cleanliness logs and report any maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly
- Adhere to facility-specific sanitation standards to promote a healthy environment for patients and staff
Qualifications
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or healthcare settings
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment operation, and chemical handling safety procedures
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and follow safe lifting practices
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on sanitation and cleanliness standards
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently during scheduled shifts
