Job Summary
Join our vibrant bakery team as a Part-Time Holiday Bakery Clerk! In this lively role, you will be the friendly face helping customers select their favorite baked goods, assist with food packaging, and ensure our bakery area remains clean, organized, and inviting. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will contribute to creating a warm, welcoming environment where customers feel inspired to indulge in our delicious baked treats. We are looking primary for help on our afternoon shift (11:30 AM to 5:30 PM). Saturdays are a must as are days leading up to all holidays. We are closed on Sundays. 15-20 hours a week average.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service by assisting with product selections and answering questions about baked goods.
- Package baked items carefully to maintain freshness and presentation, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean workspace by regularly sanitizing surfaces, organizing ingredients, and adhering to food safety protocols.
- Follow all food handling procedures, safety guidelines, and sanitation regulations to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers.
Experience
- Previous experience working with food helpful.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- This is a part-time seasonal position but could lead to a permenant position.
Pay: From $12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 – 20.0 per week
