Job Summary
Clarysville Motel is looking for a reliable and experienced Hotel Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with plumbing, electrical work, appliance repairs, and general building maintenance. This position is essential to ensuring our guests have a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained stay.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the motel.
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing issues, including faucets, toilets, sinks, and water lines.
- Perform basic electrical repairs, such as replacing outlets, switches, light fixtures, and troubleshooting electrical problems.
- Diagnose and repair hotel appliances, including refrigerators, microwaves, air conditioners, heaters, televisions, and other equipment.
- Complete preventive maintenance on guest rooms and common areas.
- Repair doors, locks, windows, drywall, flooring, and other building components.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance records.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards.
Qualifications
- Experience in hotel, apartment, or general property maintenance preferred.
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and appliance repair is required.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve maintenance issues independently.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work weekends or on-call when needed.
