School Counselor
As a School Counselor in our alternative education program, you’ll support our high-risk students from elementary through high school. To support their IEP and behavior goals, you’ll provide individual and group counseling, treatment planning, behavior interventions, skill building, and build strong therapeutic relationships to empower students and families with tools for success. You’ll work with the student and staff through crisis intervention, to recognize triggers and provide strategies for defusing situations. This allows the student to learn more appropriate ways of handling their problems and taking charge of their goals. This position offers wonderful mental health counseling experience with clinical support and licensure supervision! Make a lasting impact—one student at a time.

- $45-55k/year
- School hours (7am-3pm or 8am-4pm)
- Option of summers off or working a 6 week summer program
- Licensure supervision
- Mental health counseling experience
- Reputable for providing supportive training and experience
- Stability and growth of working for a national agency
- Bachelor’s Degree, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
- Trauma, CBT, NCC, DBT Credentials preferred but not required
