About the Role 
The Crisis Center Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) focuses on de-escalation techniques, identifying immediate client needs, and providing clinical treatment to support discharge from the crisis center. This role works with adults to complete crisis and risk factor assessments, provide crisis counseling services, and conduct individual therapy. The QMHP collaborates with interdisciplinary treatment team members to stabilize clients, develop discharge and aftercare plans, and ensure ongoing support following crisis center services. The QMHP is also responsible for reporting legal, ethical, and safety concerns in accordance with professional standards. 

Responsibilities 
· Utilize de-escalation techniques to stabilize individuals in crisis 
· Identify immediate client needs and provide goal-directed clinical treatment 
· Complete crisis and risk factor assessments 
· Provide crisis counseling services and individual therapy 
· Develop discharge and aftercare plans to promote ongoing stabilization 
· Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment team members 
· Report legal, ethical, or safety concerns in accordance with professional standards 
· Maintain trauma-informed and culturally responsive practices 
· Support clinical shifts between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., any day of the week 

Required Qualifications 
· Licensed in Oregon as a QMHP-R, LCSW, LPC, or LMFT 
· Knowledge and experience utilizing psychological theories 
· Ability to pass background checks, including Enhanced Fingerprinting 
· Ability to work in a crisis center setting and collaborate within an interdisciplinary team 

 

Compensation & Benefits 

$34 per hr
