Pediatric Neuropsychologist

Clarus Health Alliance
Westbrook, CT Full Time
POSTED ON 8/25/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 12/23/2026

Clarus Health Alliance is an independent practice providing behavioral health services for individuals in the central and southeast regions of Connecticut. We are recruiting a pediatric neuropsychologist for our Westbrook location that provides services to the region including Old Saybrook, Lyme, Clinton, Madison, Guilford, and New Haven.

The pediatric neuropsychologist will provide services for individuals presenting with complex neurodevelopment questions including ASD, learning disabilities, ADHD, and a host of other conditions. While all client work is face to face, the position can be considered "hybrid" as most services beyond actual client-facing time can be completed remotely.

Over the past 30 years, we have cultivated strong relationships with a wide range of referral sources in the communities surrounding New London county. We are excited to expand those services to Middlesex County. At present, our referrals come from a variety of sources, including primary care, neurology, local schools, universities, community mental health centers, local hospitals, independent physician offices, attorneys, and employee health centers.

In addition to excellence in clinical care, we are passionate about training the next generation of neuropsychologists. Each year, we recruit neuropsychology practicum students from local universities. As a part of the training year, students are mentored on research projects that can be presented at conferences and developed into publications. We additionally have a two-year neuropsychology post-doctoral fellowship program. Our new first year fellow will be joining us later this summer!

Competitive applicants must have a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical psychology from an APA accredited graduate program and completed an APA accredited internship program. It is expected that all neuropsychologist staff members have completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship focused on specialty training in clinical neuropsychology. Also, applicants must be licensed or license-eligible for independent practice in the state of Connecticut.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in neuropsychological assessment, strong written communication skills, capability to see a wide range of conditions, and a keen interest in training graduate-level students. Employees carrying a full time caseload can expect to earn >$125,000/year. We offer a competitive benefits package and are motivated to hire talented candidates whose passions align with our mission and values.

Clarus employees are eligible to receive federal loan forgiveness through two different loan repayment programs that are typically only available in hospital settings.

Connecticut is a wonderful place to live and work. If you like outdoor activities, look no further! We have more beaches, forests, lakes, and rivers than you can possibly visit. You can watch birds in the spring, hike in the summer, pick apples at an orchard in the fall, and go downhill skiing in the winter. We are strategically located about 100 miles north of New York City and 100 miles south of Boston. Within 90 minutes, you can be watching a show on Broadway in NYC, or cheering for the Red Sox (or visiting team!) in Boston. If local is what you like, we have excellent access to local sports teams, including double A baseball, soccer, and hockey. Connecticut school systems are well resourced and have a reputation for excellence at all levels.

To apply, please submit a letter of interest, CV, and two de-identified work samples (e.g., reports) addressed to Caleb P. Peck, Psy.D., ABPP-CN. Early career and bilingual neuropsychologists are encouraged to apply. For more information, please visit our website at www.clarushealthalliance.com.
