Claro's Italian Markets is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Full-Time Retail Associate to support operations within the Deli and Grocery Departments. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced retail environment.

• Full-time position (approximately 40 hours per week)
• Availability required for weekends and holidays
• Flexible scheduling based on business needs

• $17.00 – $20.00 per hour, depending on experience

• Provide courteous, professional, and efficient customer service
• Assist customers with product selection, recommendations, and inquiries
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) system and handle transactions accurately
• Prepare and serve deli items in accordance with food safety standards
• Stock shelves and maintain organized, visually appealing displays
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation across work areas
• Support overall store operations and collaborate with team members

• Previous retail, grocery, or deli experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math and cash handling skills
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Interest in Italian foods and specialty products is a plus

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as slicing, stocking, and scanning
