Clarksville CSD is seeking a long-term substitute kindergarten teacher to provide classroom instruction and support during a teacher’s maternity leave.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a positive, safe, and supportive classroom environment.
- Follow established lesson plans and instructional materials.
- Assess student learning and provide appropriate feedback and support.
- Maintain effective classroom management.
- Communicate professionally with students, families, staff, and administration.
- Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to support student success.
- Maintain accurate student records and complete other routine classroom responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Valid Iowa teaching license or Substitute authorization or other appropriate Iowa licensure required.
- Previous experience working with elementary-aged children preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
- Ability to establish positive relationships with students and staff.
