Dairy / Frozen Supervisor - PT

The Center Store - Dairy/Frozen Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the dairy section, ensuring product availability, freshness, and quality. This role involves ordering, stocking, and rotating dairy products, as well as providing exceptional customer service. 

Key Responsibilities 

Product Management: 

• Ordering:   

• Forecast demand and place orders to maintain optimal inventory levels. 

• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of dairy and frozen products.

• Monitor inventory levels and adjust orders based on sales trends and seasonal variations. 

Stocking and Merchandising:  

• Receive and verify dairy product deliveries for accuracy and quality. 

• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays in an organized and aesthetically pleasing manner. 

• Rotate products according to the first-in, first-out (FIFO) method to ensure freshness. 

Quality Control:  

• Inspect dairy products for freshness and expiration dates. 

• Remove and properly dispose of expired or damaged products. 

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dairy section. 

Customer Service: 

• Assist customers in locating dairy/frozen products and provide product information. 

• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests with a positive and helpful attitude. 

• Promote special offers and new products in the dairy section. 

Administrative Duties: 

• Maintain accurate records of orders, deliveries, and inventory levels. 

• Prepare sales and inventory reports for the Center Store Manager. 

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. 

Team Collaboration: 

• Work closely with the Center Store team to coordinate efforts and achieve department goals. 

• Participate in team meetings and training sessions. 

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 

• Previous retail or grocery store experience preferred. 

• Experience in a dairy department or similar role is a plus. 

Skills and Abilities: 

• Strong organizational and time management skills. 

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask. 

• Good communication and interpersonal skills. 

• Basic math skills for inventory management and ordering. 

• Physical ability to lift and carry heavy items, stand for long periods, and perform manual labor. 

  Work Environment: 

• Work is performed in a retail store environment. 

• Exposure to varying temperatures, including refrigerated areas. 

• May require evening, weekend, and holiday shifts. 

Salary : $18 - $21
