Available Shifts:
2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (plus shift differential)
3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM (plus shift differential)
Starting rate at $23.29 plus $2.00/hour shift differential for all hours worked on 2nd and 3rd shift.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Displays willingness and the ability to assist in packaging the skid all products per procedures.
- Demonstrates ability to work in a team environment.
- Understands and uses a tape measure to check length, width and hole spacing.
- Sets up, operates and adjusts the banding skids per procedure.
- Select the correct size pallet to be used for packaging the skid.
- Ensures skids are packaged according to the specifications and each skid to be sure that it is securely banded.
- Confirms that correct size, gauge, length, and quantity of product is packages prior to placing shipping label.
- Keeps work area and surrounds clean and clear of obstruction.
- Notifies management if safety devices are malfunctioning or missing prior to machine operation.
- Completes required paperwork to specification, if necessary.
- Maintains a clean organized workstation
- Performs other duties, as assigned.
- Performs Lockout Procedure as required by mill specific Lockout JSA
- Understands all safety devices and their operation.
- Works safely and follows all safety rules and operational procedures.
- Wears and maintains all required PPE.
- Understands all safety devices and their operation.
- Notifies management if safety devices are malfunctioning or missing prior to operation.
- Safely operates all lifting devices per manufacturing specifications.

Qualifications:
- Prior manufacturing experience preferred
- The Military Equivalent will be recognized in lieu of education and/or experience
- Lifting up to 50 lbs
- Standing 8 or more hours per day
- Walking - Off and on, 4-6 hours per day
- Body Positions - Squatting, bending, flexing and extending both arms
- Grasping - Both hands, up to 8-hours per day
- Sitting - None
- Pushing Effort - Carts of finished product and tools, up to 50lbs
- Pulling - Tools and finished product, up to 50lbs
- Climbing - ladders/stairs, occasionally
- Basic Mathematical skills, addition, subtraction, multiplication and converting fractions into decimals
- Must be able to use and read a tape measure, caliper, and micrometer accurately
- Manufacturing facility - exposed to heat and cold
- Personal Protective Equipment always required
