Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented OTR (Over-the-Road) Truck Driver specializing in dump trailer operations. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting freight using tractor-trailers with dump trailers across long distances. You will ensure timely deliveries, proper load handling, and adherence to safety regulations, all while representing our commitment to excellence on the road.
Responsibilities
- Operate tractor-trailers equipped with dump trailers, requiring manual transmission vehicles, safely and efficiently over long routes.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring proper securing of loads such as freight, roll-off trucks, or other materials.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers to identify maintenance needs or safety issues.
- Manage route driving responsibilities, adhering to scheduled delivery times and traffic laws.
- Maintain paper logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle inspections in compliance with federal regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates, delivery status, or any issues encountered on the road.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver experience with dump trailer handling. Must have valid references.
- Proficiency in operating manual transmission trucks and with tractor-trailer configurations.
- Experience driving, dump trailers is mandatory.
- Ability to load & unload freight safely.
- Knowledge of route driving best practices and safety protocols for long-distance hauling.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
