What are the responsibilities and job description for the Refrigeration Technician position at Clark Service Group?
Our HVAC/R Service Technicians provide on-site equipment repairs for commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment. We are seeking a customer service oriented individual to provide our customers with maintenance, repair, and installation of commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment by diagnosing issues and replacing necessary parts.
DUTIES:
- Diagnose and repair malfunctions in various types of commercial HVAC and refrigeration.
- Order and install replacement parts as required.
- Repair, replace, or calibrate controls, thermostats, switches, fuses, and electrical wiring.
- Repair, replace, or calibrate components on natural gas and LP heating systems.
- Fabricate, assemble, and install electrical wiring, controls, and piping as required.
- Wire and connect motors, pumps, compressors, temperature controls, heating elements, and humidity controls as required.
- Provide proper refrigerant handling procedures according to federal EPA code.
- Be available for one weekend a month for Clark Service Group's on-call schedule.
- Promote a positive work environment and company culture.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- CFESA Certificated Technician (preferred).
- Associate's degree or certification in HVAC (preferred).
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- All technicians are subject to annual background checks, clearances, and certifications. Drug tests are administered before and periodically during employment.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to work in extreme conditions (i.e.: hot, cold, dirty environment, etc.)
- Must be able to bend, reach, and kneel.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Must be able to work in all food service environments.

Pay: Up to $45.00 per hour
