We are seeking a DevOps Lead who will design, implement, and maintain the tools, pipelines, and infrastructure that support KPI's engineering and development functions. Key Responsibilities
- Build and implement development tools, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.
- Deploy updates and fixes; provide Level 2 technical support.
- Automate development, deployment, and release processes.
- Conduct code reviews and analyze results to improve system performance and reliability.
- Identify and troubleshoot system issues; develop patches and updates.
- Develop integrations for internal back‑end systems.
- Create scripts and tools for system visualization and monitoring.
- Lead root‑cause analysis for production issues and ensure long‑term solutions.
- Maintain documentation, troubleshooting procedures, and operational best practices.
- Communicate project updates, priorities, and blockers to leadership.
- Lead and mentor DevOps engineers; set team priorities and career development plans.
- Delegate effectively and empower technical teams across the organization.
- 7 years' experience as a DevOps Engineer, DevOps Lead, or similar software engineering role
- Strong skills with Git, GitHub, CI/CD practices, cloud infrastructure and networking, infrastructure as code (TerraForm/Bicep/CloudFormation), containers and orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes), and automation
- Hands‑on experience with Azure cloud services
- Proficiency in Python or Ruby
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Strong communication skills; able to explain technical concepts clearly
- Detail‑oriented with solid documentation habits
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and collaborative work style
- Leadership experience—mentoring, guiding, or empowering technical teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Preferred: Enterprise‑level development experience; background in civil engineering or customer‑experience environments
