We currently manage and own the 75 room Hotel Saint Vincent in New Orleans, and we have two hotel projects in development in Aspen and in Austin that we will also own and manage. MML has a unique plan to own and operate each of its properties and the financial backing to only take on special projects in places we want to spend time.
About Clark’s Oyster Bar:
Clark’s Oyster Bar, part of MML Hospitality, has recently opened in Malibu, California. Known for our exceptional oysters, martinis, lobster rolls, champagne, and signature dishes, we’re thrilled to bring the Clark’s experience to this vibrant community. Inspired by the 1950s, our design features oak, terracotta, and leather, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. With around 100 seats, including a private dining room, we’re proud to be a new neighborhood staple—where locals and visitors alike can enjoy outstanding food, drinks, and service.
Position Summary: We are looking for a part time enthusiastic and reliable Morning Baker & Pastry Cook to bring their passion to the team! In this role, you will make artisan breads and a range of pastry components according to pre-established recipes. You will be responsible for executing and providing standard pastry items, working closely with the Executive Pastry Chef. Must have weekend availability.

Duties and responsibilities include:
- Mixing and shaping sourdough, burger buns, lobster rolls and sandwich bread
- Preparing a variety of pastry desserts, such as tarts, cake and ice creams, following company standard
- Monitor supplies and ingredients necessary for daily operations
- Maintain a clean workstation
- Maintain consistency when creating product
- Follow plating and display standards
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Basic math skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize job duties and manage time effectively
- Strong verbal communication skills required
- Willingness to comply with all food safety procedures
- One year of experience is not required but preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of being on your feet per shift.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
