Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary HR resource for employees and plant leadership.
  • Partner with management on workforce planning, staffing, retention, and employee development.
  • Manage employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance concerns.
  • Lead recruiting and onboarding efforts for hourly and salaried positions.
  • Provide guidance on company policies, employment practices, and applicable labor laws.
  • Coordinate performance reviews, compensation changes, promotions, and other employee transactions.
  • Support employee training, leadership development, and succession-planning initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR documentation is completed properly.
  • Oversee attendance, leave-of-absence, and accommodation processes.
  • Monitor employee engagement and recommend programs that improve retention and workplace culture.
  • Partner with operations and safety leadership to support a safe and compliant working environment.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
  • Prepare and analyze HR reports, including turnover, staffing, absenteeism, and other workforce metrics.
  • Manage additional HR projects and responsibilities as needed.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Three or more years of progressive human resources experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous HR experience within a manufacturing, distribution, or similar operational environment.
  • Broad knowledge of employee relations, recruiting, performance management, and employment law.
  • Experience independently managing HR responsibilities at a plant or facility level.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with hourly employees, supervisors, and senior leadership.
  • Sound judgment and the ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters.
  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus.


Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
