How you’ll contribute
A medical technologist (MT) who excels in this role:
Performs diagnostic testing on patient samples to assist physicians in diagnosing and monitoring disease states.
Reports to the Director of Laboratory Services
Follows standardized procedures and prepares patient samples for testing.
Collects and analyzes bodily fluids and substances for abnormalities, including blood samples for transfusions.
Operates laboratory equipment safely and effectively.
Analyzes test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits; reports and documents findings according to organizational standards.
Performs automated testing using computerized instruments and equipment.
Conducts Quality Assurance to ensure accuracy and reliability of equipment and results.
Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
Performs other duties as assigned.

What we’re looking for
Applicants should have a current bachelors degree in medical laboratory science. Additional requirements include:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Science preferred.
License: /Certifications: Medical Technologist licensure through ASCP or AMT preferred (licensure must reflect education requirements)
