REPORTS TO: Building Principal
FLSA CLASSIFICATION:Hourly Non-Exempt
COMPENSATION: Based on Classified Pay Model
WORK CALENDAR:183 Days
STANDARD HOURS:6.75 Hours/Day
PERF: CPCSC is a Non-PERF District
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and tutor students with special needs
- Provide small group one on one instruction to students in need.
- Respect the individual's right to privacy.
- To participate in staff development programs.
- To perform other duties assigned by the building principal.
Qualfications:
- The preferred candidate will be a licensed elementary teacher; at least 48 college credits; an associates degree or willing to take and achieve a passing score on the ParaPro Assessment prior to beginning work.
- The preferred candidate will have experience working with students with special needs
The preferred candidate will have a teacher's license.
