Pay: $40/hour

Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience as a Refrigeration Technician in an industrial environment.

Type: Full-time; Direct Hire

Schedule: Flexible schedule with weekend work required

Job Description:

• Monitor and operate facility systems, including refrigeration, wastewater, steam, low/high-pressure hot water, compressed air, and ventilation.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) and repairs on assigned equipment, ensuring systems operate safely and effectively at all times.
• Record system readings and document operational performance.
• Troubleshoot and maintain mechanical, electrical (high and low voltage), PLC/control, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Perform welding and fabrication of equipment in a food manufacturing environment.
  
  

Position Requirements:

• Industrial boiler and air compressor experience required.
• Wastewater management experience is a plus.
• R.E.T.A. Certification or the ability to obtain.
• Strong knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems and Process Safety Management (PSM).
• Automation experience and ability to read P&IDs.
• Electrical troubleshooting skills (480/230v 3-phase, 120v, 24v) with the ability to read schematics and blueprints.
• Root cause analysis and advanced troubleshooting abilities.
• Proficient with electrical testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
• Skilled in soldering and welding; forklift and scissor lift certified.
• Knowledge of EPA regulations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Strong written/verbal communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
