Position: Customer Service Representative

Location: Saraland, AL

Pay: $15.50/hour

Experience: Customer service experience preferred; phone-related customer service is a huge plus

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm (Ability to work OT as needed)

Clark Personnel is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description

• Take orders via phone, fax, mail, and email and enter order samples
• Answer phone calls and follow up with customers regarding their orders as needed
• Check stock for current, dropped, and promotional products
• Monitor orders and ensure shipping occurs within 24-48 hours
• Respond promptly to inquiries, verify accounts, and handle and resolve customer issues
• Convert measurements and pricing
• Provide pricing and delivery information to customers
• Expedite or cancel orders as needed
• Communicate and coordinate with internal departments
• Other duties as assigned or needed
  
  

Position Requirements

• Professional communication (verbal and written) skills
• Ability to type a minimum of 35 words per minute
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Strong math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and percentages)
• Ability to follow directions and work independently
• Time management and strong attention to detail
