Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences regarding cannabis products
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations and answer questions about product effects, usage and dosage
2. Product Knowledge:
- Stay up to date with the latest cannabis products, strains and industry trends
- Educate customers about different strains, concentrates, edibles and other cannabis products, including their benefits and potential effects
- Ensure comprehensive understanding of product ingredients, potency and property usuage
3. Sales and Transactions:
- Process customer transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Handle cash and credit card transactions, adhering to all security protocols
- Upsell and cross-sell products based on customer needs and preferences
4. Compliance and Safety:
- Adhere to all state and local regulations regarding cannabis sales and handling
- Verify customer age and identification to ensure legal compliance
- Follow all health and safety protocols, including sanitization and cleanliness standards
5. Inventory Management
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves
- Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory to the management team
- Maintain an organized and well-presented sales floor
