What are the responsibilities and job description for the Member Service Representative (Nights/Weekend) position at Clark Memorial YMCA?
Position Summary:
This position supports the work of the Y, through the delivering of excellent service to all members, guests, and program participants. This position responds to all member and guest needs, welcomes members and participants who enter the facility and assists Welcome Center staff with membership sales, tours of the facility and answering phone calls.
Hours: Negotiable; nights and weekends
Qualifications:
Ability to provide the highest level of customer service in person as well as over the phone
Ability to interact and communicate clearly and effectively
Must be able to interact with and communicate well with people of all ages
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Ability to problem solve
Must have basic computer knowledge
Responsibilities:
Welcome members and participants into the facility
Give facility tours
Membership Sales
Provide verbal information on YMCA membership as well as program and fitness classes currently offered
Complete sales transactions
Handle and enforce safety and policies throughout the facility
Make orientation and personal training appointments for members upon request
Other duties as assigned
