We are growing and looking for a motivated, detail-oriented CNC Mill & Lathe Operator to join our team.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you’ll set up and operate CNC mills and lathes to perform precision machining operations while ensuring quality, efficiency, and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, process sheets, and sketches
  • Setting up CNC mills and lathes for production runs
  • Mounting and securing workpieces using chucks, centers, or faceplates
  • Selecting and installing tooling according to process specifications
  • Monitoring machine operations, feed rates, speeds, and dimensional adjustments
  • Inspecting first-run and in-process parts for quality and accuracy
  • Organizing materials and preparing for upcoming jobs to minimize downtime
  • Maintaining equipment cleanliness and completing maintenance checklists
  • Verifying proper tooling is available for daily production
  • Following production schedules to meet shipping deadlines
  • Supporting a safe, organized, and team-focused work environment

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking dependable team players who take pride in precision work and continuously strive to improve their skills.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or technical training preferred
  • 6 months to 1 year of CNC machining experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, safety rules, and operating instructions
  • Basic algebra and geometry skills
  • Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with Epicor Manufacturing software preferred
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
