Before becoming a State Farm agent, I worked at Dean Witter and also owned a small business, giving me experience in both financial services and entrepreneurship. I’m a graduate of Drake University, and outside of the office, life stays pretty entertaining on my mini farm. I live on a couple of acres with 17 animals, including goats and alpacas.

- Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
- Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
- Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
- Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
- Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
- Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Salary : $35,000 - $50,000
