Benefits and Compensation
The pay range for this position is $16.60 - $18.53 per hour, and is based on experience. Bonuses equaling up to 2% of salary annually are available based on performance, generally in the spring and fall each year.

Job Requirements

Per the Illinois Department of Public Health, all team members must receive the annual influenza vaccine (exemption requests will be reviewed).

Previous experience with driving passengers required.

Must be able to obtain an Illinois License Type J restriction (J05) within 1 week of hire date.

Must be able to safely operate a motor vehicle, including providing assistance with entering and exiting the vehicles. Pushing wheelchairs for some distance is common in this role.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must have a valid and properly classified Illinois driver’s license.
- Must have had a driver’s license, not necessarily of the same classification for three years prior to the date of the application.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English Language.
- Must abide by ClarkLindsey’s HIPAA privacy and security rules as described in the Employee handbook.
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with team members, residents, visitors and the general public.

Previous driving experience. Experience transporting riders with mobility assistance such as wheelchairs. Customer service experience required. Experience in an office environment is preferred.
Class J05 or CDL required. This must be obtained within one week of hire, if the candidate does not already have the licensure.
Pre-employment physical to assess ability to preform the major tasks of the position is required.
