Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Store Manager for our Stuart, VA Circle K, to lead our retail team and drive store performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for retail, and the ability to create an engaging shopping experience for our customers. As a Store Manager, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, manage on-site short-order breakfast deli, maintain store to Circle K Franchise requirements, maintain a high level of food safety requirements and ensure that the store meets its sales targets while maintaining high standards of customer service.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Manage customer complaints and resolutions.
- Oversee inventory control, including stock management and ordering processes to ensure product availability.
- Implement effective training and development programs for staff to enhance their skills and performance.
- Ensure compliance with franchise brand requirements as well as food safety requirements for local and franchise issued inspections.
- Manage administrative tasks such as payroll processing, scheduling, and reporting on various technical and online platforms.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all aspects of store operations.
- Monitor retail sales to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment.
- Recruit and hire qualified applicants for store positions.
- Liaison with Director of Retail Operations as well as varied corporate office staff.
- Trouble shoot fuel dispenser and store/site maintenance issues and engage service providers.
- Have the ability to be on site and on time for all scheduled work hours.
Experience
- Highschool diploma and valid drivers license required.
- Minimum of 3 years retail customer service required. Experience in convenience store operations highly preferred, but not required.
- Experience in retail management or store management roles is preferred. We will train the right individual.
- Strong understanding of inventory control processes and retail math principles.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in administrative tasks.
- Ability to analyze market trends and adapt strategies to maximize sales opportunities.
- Experience in training development is strongly preferred.

Pay: $44,200.00 - $45,800.00 per year
