Job Summary
Clark Gas Company is seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle different types of trucks, including flatbed, van trailers, and tankers.
Duties
- Drive van trailer and fuel tanker trucks to deliver fuel to various locations
- Ensure timely delivery of goods to designated locations while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Load and unload cargo as necessary, utilizing forklift equipment when required.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and any incidents that occur during transport.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport.
- Follow all company policies regarding safety procedures and compliance with DOT regulations.
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required.
- Tanker & Hazmat endorsements
- Proven experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policy.
