What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Manager position at Clark Davis Associates?
The HR Manager will implement and manage a wide variety of Human Resource duties including; leadership development, succession planning, talent management, policies and procedure, recruitment, employee and labor relations, and training/coaching.
Responsibilities
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues/investigations
- Partner with leadership and employees to improve employee engagement, retention and organizational effectiveness
- Foster an environment that provides employees training and developmental opportunities
- Lead recruitment initiatives
- Handle labor relations initiatives and strategy
- Collaborate with talent acquisition to recruit top talent for hourly and salaried positions
- Ensure compliance across legal, regulatory and internal policies
- Regularly audit employee data in HRIS to ensure data is up to date and accurate
- Oversee onboarding process and policies & procedures
- Lead HR projects
Education and Qualifications
- Bachelor degree required
- 10 years of Human Resources experience
- Must have experience within in a unionized environment
- Experience with labor and employee relations
- Bilingual in Spanish required
- Ability to work flexible hours as this is a 24/7 operation
- Knowledge of State Laws, Federal Laws and regulations in the areas of wage and hour laws, employment law, and workers’ compensation required.
- PHR/SPHR or MBA/Advanced degree in Human Resource Management a plus
