What are the responsibilities and job description for the Day Service Aide position at Clark County Rehabilitation and Living Center?
Full-time Adult Day Care Aide/ Outreach Support Worker (30-40 hrs. per week). The Adult Day Care Aide provides safety and supervision of all participants while promoting the participants growth and development. Adult Day Care Aide/Outreach Support Worker assists with participants with activities of daily living and personal care needs per their individual program plan, encourage social integration and independence and provides services within the facility as well as in the community.
Requirements:
A high school diploma or its equivalent and two years of vocational school or specialized certifications is required. At least one year of prior experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred. Must be CNA certified, CPR and first aid certified, and CBRF Medication Administration certified. A valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
Benefits:
Starting wage for this position is $20.86 - $27.73 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
Shifts:
Monday – Friday (No Weekends, No Holidays)
NOTE: Certification in first aid and CPR will have to be obtained within 6 months from the start date of assigned employment.
