Duties
- Conduct continuous surveillance of construction sites or areas where fire protection systems are being installed or maintained to detect potential fire hazards.
- Monitor the operation of fire sprinkler fittings, fire alarm systems, and alarm systems sales processes to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain clear communication with site supervisors and emergency responders in case of fire or system malfunctions.
- Verify that all fire safety equipment is in place, operational, and compliant with local regulations throughout the project duration.
- Document all observations, inspections, and incidents accurately in detailed reports for record-keeping and compliance purposes.
- Assist with construction inspection activities related to fire safety measures and ensure adherence to system design specifications.
- Support the installation and testing of fire alarm systems, ensuring proper functionality before project completion.
Requirements
- Prior experience or knowledge in security protocols, fire alarm systems, or construction inspection is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with system design principles related to fire sprinkler fitting and alarm systems sales is a plus.
- Ability to stay alert for extended periods while monitoring multiple areas or systems simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of construction safety standards and fire prevention techniques.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and emergency responders.
- Certification or training in fire watch procedures, security practices, or relevant technical fields is preferred but not mandatory.
