Fire Watch

Join our team as a Fire Watch, a vital role dedicated to ensuring safety and compliance during construction projects, system installations, or maintenance activities involving fire protection systems. As a Fire Watch, you will be responsible for monitoring work sites to prevent fire hazards, verifying the proper functioning of fire alarm and sprinkler systems, and maintaining a safe environment for all personnel. Duties

• Conduct continuous surveillance of construction sites or areas where fire protection systems are being installed or maintained to detect potential fire hazards.
• Monitor the operation of fire sprinkler fittings, fire alarm systems, and alarm systems sales processes to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain clear communication with site supervisors and emergency responders in case of fire or system malfunctions.
• Verify that all fire safety equipment is in place, operational, and compliant with local regulations throughout the project duration.
• Document all observations, inspections, and incidents accurately in detailed reports for record-keeping and compliance purposes.
• Assist with construction inspection activities related to fire safety measures and ensure adherence to system design specifications.
• Support the installation and testing of fire alarm systems, ensuring proper functionality before project completion.

Requirements

• Prior experience or knowledge in security protocols, fire alarm systems, or construction inspection is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with system design principles related to fire sprinkler fitting and alarm systems sales is a plus.
• Ability to stay alert for extended periods while monitoring multiple areas or systems simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of construction safety standards and fire prevention techniques.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and emergency responders.
• Certification or training in fire watch procedures, security practices, or relevant technical fields is preferred but not mandatory.
