CARPENTER/ LABORER:

JOB SUMMARY:

The carpenter/ laborer role will perform physical labor tasks around the construction site. This position will also perform various tasks, site clean-up, loading or unloading materials and removing any unsafe hazards that are found around the construction site. The carpenter / laborer position may also run some types of mobile equipment, perform carpentry work, and may also perform light plumbing work. This position may also perform other duties asked of them by the Project Superintendent.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior experience with self-perform carpentry/ laborer work in commercial, heavy
• industrial construction environments.
• Able to plan and execute work with minimum supervision
• Must understand plumb, level and square
• Understand construction terminology
• Identify common construction materials, hand tools, and power tools (hammer, shovel, water pump, measuring tape, hammer drill, saw, etc.)
• Proven commitment to Safety
• Work in an organized manner
• Able to work Monday through Friday and weekends as needed
• Must have reliable transportation to/from the job site
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Must be self-motivated and can work well with others
• Ability to perform heavy lifting/pushing/pulling of material weighing 50 pounds
• Minimum age 18

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Experience:
