Position Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee a large commercial construction project in Northern Michigan. The ideal candidate will bring a strong project management background, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Establish and monitor project scopes, schedules, work breakdown structures, and planning assumptions. Manage scope, budget, and schedule changes proactively.
- Resource Management: Develop resource allocations in collaboration with superintendents and the management team, ensuring effective use of resources to meet project goals.
- Priority Setting: Set and adjust project priorities, reallocating resources as necessary to meet deadlines and deliverables.
- Stakeholder Management: Define and manage roles and responsibilities for all project stakeholders, ensuring clear accountability and alignment.
- Performance Monitoring: Track project performance metrics, identify deviations from the plan, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Team Integration: Collaborate with project team members and functional owners to ensure proper resource allocation and alignment with project deliverables.
- Issue Resolution: Proactively address performance issues to keep projects on track and ensure timely completion.
- Execution Plans: Develop and manage comprehensive execution plans, including risk management, communication strategies, change control, and quality assurance plans.
- Periodic Assessments: Conduct regular project assessments and provide status updates to stakeholders and clients.
- Communication: Maintain frequent communication with customers, management, and project teams to ensure alignment and progress.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant project management experience.
- Self-starter with the ability to independently manage multiple tasks and projects.
- Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to develop and implement processes and procedures.
- Solid understanding of construction and engineering functions with the ability to adapt to new processes.
- Proficient in data automation tools, as well as standard word processing and data management programs.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of working with diverse teams and engaging with all levels of personnel.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
