What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr Compliance Manager position at Clark Construction and Careers?
The Sr. Compliance Manager will provide leadership on all government and contract compliance functions nationally for the company. Working alongside a dedicated team of highly trained compliance professionals to ensure our projects across the country meet their compliance objectives. This role is based out of our McLean, VA office, with regular time spent on our job sites primarily in the Mid-Atlantic area, with travel to other regions.

Responsibilities
- Protect the organization and our trade partners by strictly enforcing compliance with Federal, State, and
- Create economic opportunity within the communities we work by ensuring Clark and our trade partners
- Closely monitor Clark’s own workforce for conformity to all applicable compliance requirements
- Supervise a team responsible for all prevailing wage related document collection and review
- Collaborate with project team leadership to close out any non-compliant findings related to the review of
- Collaborate with both project team and corporate leadership on process improvements and issue
- Assists with complex prevailing wage issues and/or investigations with third parties
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with access around sensitive information
- Quickly resolve all Internal and External Audit report findings
- Assess company policies and procedures to draft and implement changes intended to protect the
- Resolve disputes with executive leadership of our trade partners and government clients with minimal
- Create and present trainings on a variety of government regulations to trade partners and internal staff
- Day to day supervision of a growing team dedicated to project compliance success
- Provide constructive feedback to team members to further improve the quality of their work
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred with 5 years of relevant experience
- FAR competency required
- Industry association experience
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills
- Advanced conceptual thinking in complex or new situations
- Experience in developing and training employees in government contracting matters including contract
- Experience with legal research and internal investigations
- Skilled communicator

Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of prevailing wage law (Federal Davis Bacon, MD DLLR, WA L&I, CA DIR, etc…)
- Experience with Small Business and Employment Opportunity programs
- Experience with LCPTracker or similar software
- Knowledge of CAS requirements
- Highly motivated individual with strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Careful attention to detail and reliability of output
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced team environment
