Overview :

Felix Modern American Dining, located in the heart of Lakeview, Chicago, is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Servers to join our team! As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences by delivering high-quality service in our fine dining establishment. Your passion for hospitality and culinary excellence will contribute to creating memorable dining experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate orders and ensure timely delivery of food and drinks.
- Assist guests with any inquiries or special requests, demonstrating excellent guest relations skills.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area throughout service.
- Process cash handling transactions accurately using the cash register.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service and address any guest concerns promptly.
- Uphold restaurant standards of quality, presentation, and service at all times.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred, particularly in upscale casual environments.
- Strong knowledge of culinary offerings and ability to provide recommendations to guests.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest services and relations.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
- A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to help others are essential for success in this role.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
