Your Role
As an Optometric Technician, you will:
- Deliver patient-first customer service in every interaction.
- Assist our optometrists in providing high-quality eye care.
- Perform pre-testing procedures, including visual field testing and retinal imaging.
- Guide patients through the examination process with professionalism and empathy.
- Maintain and sanitize equipment to ensure a safe environment for everyone.
- Educate patients on eye care and contact lens use.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional, engaging demeanor.
- A genuine passion for healthcare and helping others.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to work efficiently and independently, with consistent, reliable conduct.
- Excellent writing skills.
- Previous experience as an optometric technician is a plus, but not required - we're happy to train the right candidate.
- EMR experience and bilingual ability are also a plus.
