Role Description
Clarity Security is seeking a versatile Marketing Specialist to join our growing team. The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for supporting and executing a wide range of marketing initiatives, including content creation, campaign execution, event coordination, and performance reporting. This role requires a blend of creativity, analytical skills, and a proactive, curious mindset to help drive awareness, engagement, and growth in a dynamic start-up environment.
Responsibilities
- Event Impact & Programs:
- Own end-to-end planning, execution and measurement of events, including webinars, trade shows, user conferences and other targeted programs.
- Partner with Sales to align event strategy with target accounts, company priorities and pipeline goals.
- Ensure seamless post-event follow-up with Sales to maximize engagement and conversion.
- Track and report on event performance metrics, continuously refining event programs based on outcomes, feedback and market insights.
- PR & Media Engagement:
- Lead PR initiatives to increase brand visibility, including press releases, media outreach, award submissions, and reporting on share of voice tracking.
- Build and nurture relationships with industry networks, media contacts, partners and communities to expand brand presence.
- Prepare and support company spokespeople for speaking engagements, panels and media interviews.
- Identify opportunities to leverage media and industry events to drive pipeline, through leadership and customer engagement.
- Collaborate with the team to amplify storytelling and ensure consistent messaging across channels.
- Content & Messaging:
- Draft, edit, and publish engaging content, including blogs, case studies, landing pages, social posts, and email campaigns.
- Research and develop compelling narratives that showcase Clarity Security’s differentiators in the market.
- Translate technical concepts into clear, engaging messaging tailored to diverse personas, from practitioners to executives.
- Monitor and analyze content performance metrics to refine strategy and maximize impact.
- Analytics & Reporting:
- Build and maintain reports/dashboards to track campaign performance, leads, and ROI.
- Translate insights into recommendations to improve marketing effectiveness and support company growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5 years of experience in field marketing, demand generation or event marketing, preferably for enterprise software or SaaS companies.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to shift seamlessly between technical and creative messaging.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with experience turning data into actionable insights.
- Proficiency with CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot), including experience building reports and analyzing data.
- A proactive, self-starter mentality with the ability to spot opportunities, raise new ideas, and take initiative.
