Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address client-specific needs.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual health conditions and goals.
- Provide excellent patient service by creating a welcoming atmosphere, listening attentively, and ensuring client comfort throughout each session.
- Educate clients on pain management strategies, occupational health practices, and self-care routines to support ongoing wellness.
- Maintain detailed records of treatments, patient progress, and relevant medical information in compliance with privacy standards.
Experience
- Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification.
- Cupping and Lymphatic Drainage training preferred, but not required.
- Proven experience in patient service, patient assessment, and delivering various massage modalities such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy.
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with diverse clients.
- Familiarity with pain management techniques and holistic approaches to health improvement.
Pay: From $44.00 per hour
