Zoom Producer

Our oil and gas client is seeking an experienced Zoom Producer to provide seamless support during virtual training sessions by managing all technical and administrative aspects of delivery. This role is critical to ensuring each session runs smoothly from start to finish, allowing the facilitator to focus fully on instruction and learner engagement.

The ideal candidate will serve as the operational backbone of the training sessions, proactively handling setup, troubleshooting, participant management, and post-session follow-up. This is a support-focused role and does not include facilitation responsibilities.

Pre-Session Preparation:

• Partner closely with the instructor to test system functionality and ensure all technology is working properly.
• Conduct detailed dry runs to confirm all session materials, multimedia, and logistics are fully prepared.
• Establish contingency plans to address potential technical issues or unexpected disruptions.

During the Training Session:

• Manage the Zoom waiting room and admit participants efficiently and professionally.
• Provide real-time technical support, quickly troubleshooting and resolving participant or facilitator issues.
• Manage screen sharing, multimedia elements, and presentation of course materials.
• Monitor chat activity and ensure participant questions and concerns are addressed promptly.
• Maintain session timing and support adherence to the training agenda.
• Facilitate engagement tools such as polls, breakout rooms, Q&A sessions, and other interactive activities to enhance the learner experience.

Post-Session Support:

• Send post-session communications and support follow-up needs.
• Participate in debrief discussions to share observations and recommendations for future session improvements.

Session Dates and Times: October 13, 15, 20, 22, 27, and 29 from 8am – 11am CT

Location: Virtual

Required Experience:

• Proven experience managing Zoom meetings, webinars, and virtual instructor-led training sessions
• Strong technical expertise with Zoom and other virtual event platforms
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges quickly and calmly in real time
• Excellent communication skills and strong customer service orientation
• Close attention to detail with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with tools such as Slido, Snagit, or Mentimeter is a plus
• Strong organizational and project management skills to support the smooth execution of complex virtual training events

The pay range for this is $45.00 to $55.00 per hour W2. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, relevant education, certifications and specific work location.
